Hint: Make Characters Talk
This is a somewhat useless but fun hint for Mario Party 8. At the title screen, the characters in the game are shown. If you point the Wii Remote at any character, they will talk and make various noises.

- Carnival Figures (30 Total) - 30 CCs each
- Character Voices - 50 CCs
- Chomping Frenzy - 50 CCs

- Heckling Sounds - 50 CCs
- Minigame Sounds - 50 CCs
- Moped Mayhem - 50 CCs

Unlockable: Blooper and Hammer Brother
To unlock Blooper and Hammer Brother, you must beat the Star Battle with any regular character. Keep in mind that since you’re unlocking two characters with this technique, you must beat the Star Battle twice with two different characters to get both characters.
Unlockable: Bowser's Warp Orbit
You must complete the Star Battle with any character.
Unlockable: Minigames
Unlock the following minigames with the technique given…
- Crown Showdown - Unlock one minigame in each of the following modes: 1 v 3 player, 2 v 2 player, 4 player, and Duel.
- Flip Out Frenzy - Unlock any 4 player minigame.
- Test For the Best - Unlocked by purchasing it in the Fun Bazaar for fifty CCs.
- Tic-Tac-Drop - Unlock any Duel minigame.
